Oranges, tangerines, lemons, and other citrus fruits can have a much longer life than imaginable. LIFE CITRUSPACK has succeeded in developing new bioplastics made from renewable raw materials (petroleum-free) and added with natural fibers from citrus peel and pulp.
In addition, these materials are industrially compostable, avoiding environmental damage. CITRUSPACK has shown that certain components of waste from the juice industry can be used as natural ingredients in cosmetic products, certified under the COSMOS standard.
A sustainability that is materialized in packaging products or moisturizing creams that have managed to be developed from citrus fruit residues, and that themselves configure the complete cycle of the Circular Economy.
