CITRUSPACK collaborates with the LIFE project BioTHOP, which develops a new cross-sector value chain to produce biodegradable, compostable and recyclable products.
The first validation trial succeeded: CITRUSPACK contributed its biocomposite materials — PLA bioplastic and citrus fibres from juice production. TECOS, a partner in both projects, produced a limited series of CitrusPLA planting pots, confirming the potential for horticultural and agricultural products.
